For 250 years, the American Dream has been one of the most powerful narratives in modern history — a story of effort, opportunity, freedom and transformation that has drawn people from every corner of the world to the United States. Yet for all its power, that narrative has too often been told incompletely.
América 250: Hispanic Voices sets out to complete it. The American Dream: Hispanic Voices is a feature-length documentary that traces the arc of Hispanic contribution to the United States across 250 years — from early Spanish territorial presence and the cultural and economic foundations it established, through generations of migration, entrepreneurship and leadership, to the present day, where the Hispanic community stands as one of the most dynamic forces in American economic, cultural and civic life.
It is a film built on testimony, evidence and story — combining in-depth interviews with leaders across business, politics, culture and academia, archival footage and images, and the kind of cinematic craftsmanship that turns history into experience. The documentary is structured in six narrative blocks, each illuminating a different dimension of the Hispanic relationship with the American Dream: the early Hispanic footprint and its foundational role in shaping the country; migration, identity and the search for belonging; Hispanic leadership in contemporary business and institutions; entrepreneurship, innovation and economic contribution; the American Dream as lived experience across generations; and the future — the role the Hispanic community will play in shaping the United States in the decades ahead. This is not a film that argues for recognition.
It is a film that provides it — through stories that are at once deeply personal and historically significant, told with the care and ambition they deserve. Designed for international film festival circulation, U.S. theatrical release on July 4th, 2026, and subsequent broadcast and digital distribution, The American Dream: Hispanic Voices is conceived as a long-term cultural asset: a film that will be watched, discussed and referenced for years to come.
