A Hispanic Vision for America’s 250th Anniversary

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision honors the enduring contribution of the Hispanic community to the American story — through a platform of leadership, culture, and visibility built around four interconnected initiatives.

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary in 2026, the nation has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to reflect on the communities, ideas, and voices that have shaped its first two and a half centuries. AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision is the leading initiative conceived from a Hispanic perspective to take part in that reflection — honoring the profound and enduring contribution of the Hispanic community to the building of the United States, recognizing its present role, and projecting its voice into the country’s future.

A Tribute Rooted in Shared History

The Hispanic presence in what is today the United States predates the founding of the Republic itself. From the earliest European settlements in Florida, New Mexico, and California, to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have helped build every corner of modern American life — in business, science, arts, public service, and culture — the Hispanic community has been an inseparable thread in the national fabric. AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision exists to celebrate that legacy with the depth and respect it deserves, within the broader framework of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebrations.

A Platform of Leadership, Culture, and Visibility

Rather than a single event, this initiative has been designed as a comprehensive platform — broad in scope, institutional in approach, and strictly non-partisan in spirit. Its purpose is to build and share a contemporary, rigorous, and compelling narrative that connects Hispanic voices with national, corporate, institutional, and media audiences across the United States, while also strengthening the bonds that unite the Hispanic world globally through a shared heritage.

The project unfolds through four interconnected verticals, each designed to reach audiences in a distinct and meaningful way:

The American Dream: Hispanic Voices

A feature-length documentary exploring the evolution of the American Dream through the lived experiences, aspirations, and achievements of Hispanic Americans. This is the narrative heart of the initiative: a respectful and inspiring portrait of how the American ideal has been shaped, enriched, and renewed by generations of Hispanic contributors.

Hispanic Leadership Summit

A high-level gathering that brings together distinguished Hispanic leaders from business, culture, public service, and the arts. The Summit provides a space for thoughtful conversation about the past, the present, and the future of the United States — the kind of dialogue that honors the seriousness of this historic milestone.

America 250: Hispanic Gala Celebration

A large-format televised gala that marks the central moment of public celebration, bringing together institutional figures, cultural icons, and the broader public in a tribute worthy of the occasion.

Synchronia: Open Sky Museum

An ambitious urban digital art project that transforms the city itself into a gallery. By synchronizing LED screens across the urban landscape to display Hispanic digital art, Synchronia turns everyday public spaces into a shared cultural experience, open and accessible to every passerby.

A Contribution to a National Celebration

AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision is conceived as a sincere contribution to the United States’ 250th anniversary — not as a separate voice, but as one of many that together tell the full American story. The initiative is built on the conviction that recognizing the Hispanic community’s role enriches the celebration for everyone, and that a nation honoring its past with generosity and accuracy is better prepared to face its future.

We invite partners, institutions, and audiences across the United States and the global Hispanic community to join us in this tribute — a celebration grounded in gratitude, crafted with care, and offered as a contribution to the collective memory of a country that has welcomed, been shaped by, and continues to grow alongside its Hispanic citizens.
